FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IMPORTANCE OF CHOOSING QUALITY OVER QUANTITY?
HOW MUCH DO FAMILIES INVEST? I tell all the lovely families I get to meet along my photography journey that it depends what you are wanting from your session. To give you a rough guide our families usually invest $1,000-$3,000+ to have beautifully edited images and stunning album & wall collections to display in their homes. Feel free to fill out a form and see what is included within our collections or feel free to give me a call to discuss it further.
WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO?
DO YOU OFFER OUTDOOR SESSIONS?
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK? Its super important to book early. I suggest after your 12 week scan, as I only take on a limited amount of sessions per month meaning that unfortunately once I am booked out, I can not take on further sessions.
IS THE PORTRAIT EXPERIANCE FEE REFUNDABLE? For this reason session fees paid to hold and secure your date or as I call it our portrait photography experience booking fee is non refundable. The portrait photography experience fee is a seperate fee to your selected package. Don’t fret if you need to extend your session date, as you can use your session towards an older baby session, sitter session or family session within the same year or as discussed with the photographer.
CAN I RESCHEDULE IF WE ARE UNWELL?
DO YOU GIVE RAW FILES?
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING? For your newborn or baby I have all the props, wraps and outfits. All you will need to bring along are bottle feeding supplies/ expressed milk, nappy change supplies and I highly suggest a pacifier (dummy) to help sooth your baby during their session.
DO I NEED TO HAVE HAIR & MAKE UP DONE?
WHEN DO I SEE MY GALLERY?
CAN I PURCHASE GIFT VOUCHERS?
DO YOU RUN WEEKEND SESSIONS?
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY DIGITAL IMAGES ?
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING BABIES?
DO YOU HAVE TRAINING? I’m also a mother of 5, who is very gentle and confident around safely posing and settling newborns and babies. I have photographed preemies and babies with physical impairments throughout the last 10 years. I always let baby relax into poses and stop for feeds and changes throughout the session to ensure they are comfortable. I ensure baby is always safe and encourage parents to sit and watch, as I gently and safely pose and photograph their babies. To ensure your babies safety I also have a certificate in infectious control training which was helpful throughout the Covid-19 peak. I implement many of these strategies throughout my sessions ensuring sanitation of the items used throughout our sessions and high hygiene practices with the use of sanitiser in our studio.
ARE YOUR IMMUNISATIONS UP TO DATE? If anyone is unwell, I ask that you let me know prior to the session to reschedule, as I am in contact with not only your baby but others newborns, young children and families. Extra precautions are now in place due to Covid-19, anyone who has been in contact or has flu like symptoms will need to reschedule their session.
